Laura Cadena (she/her; b. Bogotá, Colombia) is a writer-researcher, designer, filmmaker, and creative consultant based in New York.

Her interests and work explore concepts related to:

Among others, Laura has previously worked for a care-based co-housing project; an artist-to-artist funding nonprofit; an organization focused on indigenous territorial sovereignty and the afterlife; a conceptual artist working on projects about invisibilized labor and digital economies; and an anthropologist whose work addresses political and social transformation in both Colombia and Kurdistan.

She is currently working at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center while integrating creative-documentary projects— and other film-based experiments— within her practice.
